The Hawks look to extend their perfect district record tomorrow night as they face the Van Vandals for their senior night.
The Hawks have already secured a playoff spot this season, and are looking to be district champs with a win against the Vandals, the new team in the district.
Eight of the 42 boys will play their last game in Hawk Stadium with the PG emblem across their chest. Senior Noah Tenny has been playing football since the fifth grade and has mixed emotions about it all coming to an end.
“I feel really sad about it, but at the same time I’m honestly, really excited. I’m gonna go out there and do everything I can for my senior night,” Noah said.
Over the past four years these seniors have had a direct impact on the growth of the football program. Building relationships, helping others, and being leaders on campus have all been displayed.
“I am excited because I know that I’m gonna be able to play with my best friend for the last time in front of a community that has been behind us and supporting us for the past four years,” Noah said. “There’s really no one I’d rather play with.”
