Texarkana College recognized 90 seniors who completed 15 or more credit hours through the Texarkana College program by taking dual credit classes. TC’s Dual Credit Board felt as though these students needed some sort of recognition.
During plus time last week, all of the seniors that reached 15+ credits hours received a certificate and a graduation cord by assistant superintendent Kristen Giles. They were also acknowledged and recognized by Texarkana College President Jason Smith.
There is also an opportunity for students to get their associate’s degree through TC during high school. Students can earn a quarter of their associate’s degree with 15 credit hours. There are tons of career paths but the majority require 60 credit hours to be able to graduate with your associate’s degree.
